From our Mayor

Dear Neighbors,

It is an honor and a privilege to serve our wonderful community as Mayor of the Borough of Upper Saddle River, my home for over 30 years. I want to thank my family for the support they continue to offer as I serve the community in this new capacity. As Mayor, I am committed to ensuring the safety and integrity of our municipality, the quality of borough services, and the vitality of our businesses and community partners. We will continue to build on the decades of service that have made our Borough the place it is today. Much of that success is due to Mayor Minichetti's selfless dedication and commitment. Thank you, Mayor Minichetti, we wish you and your family a wonderful 2023.

We are blessed and fortunate to have many wonderful community organizations serving our community in so many ways, every day, with goals of improving our sense of community. A great deal of work continues by residents with the goal of preserving our "small-town" charm. If you are not currently involved or a member of one of these community groups, please reach out and get involved in some capacity. These groups do not require a large time commitment and are a great way to meet your neighbors, especially if you are new to the borough. With your collective help and support, we will continue to be a vibrant community with a bright future ahead.

In 2023, I am committed to making improvements in the way the borough operates. One of my goals this coming year is to make improvements in the various ways we communicate with our residents. We will continue to improve as open and transparent local government which is accessible to all residents. The mayor's door is open to all, and I welcome you to share your ideas and concerns at any time.

For over 15 years, I have put Upper Saddle River first in all aspects of my life through service and leadership. Having grown up in the borough, I am a product of our community. We will work to make our community better, safer, stronger, and more resilient, moving USR forward.
