About
Us: The Recreation Department, with the assistance of the Recreation
Commission, is responsible for the coordination of all recreation
activities throughout the borough. With sports related
organizations,
the department oversees a wide variety of programs and special events
for all age groups throughout the year
The
Recreation Department, with the assistance of the Department of Public
Works, maintains all parks and playgrounds in Upper Saddle River,
including Lions Park, Hess Park, Liberty Pond Park, and the fields
at Bogert, Reynolds and Cavallini Schools
The
Recreation Commission is comprised of seven
volunteer residents and one liaison council member to the Mayor and
Council. The Commission meets the 1st Wednesday of each month at
borough hall
