Garbage & Recycling Information
Borough Policy --- All garbage must be at the curb in inclement weather.
The garbage collection company will not be going up or down driveways even if they have been plowed.
Recycling must always be brought out to the curb (except if you make private arrangements as described below ) .
Please
be advised that we have town-wide garbage pick-up two days per week (Mondays and Thursdays)
. Since, July 3, 2006, Scuffy Carting collects garbage for the borough. Please have all
refuse out by 6:30 a.m. If you have been missed for a pick-up, please
call the Borough Hall immediately and leave a message on our answering
machine which is on 24 hours a day. The Recycling Depot is open every
Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. There is always a monitor on duty to assist
you.
Garbage & Recycling
Collections Information
Gaeta Recycling Co. will be servicing our curbside recycling pickup program beginning July 1, 2011. The company is offering residents the option of driveway pickup. If you are interested, you must contact Gaeta Recycling Co. directly at 973-278-6625, ext. 28 to make arrangements for this service. This arrangement is solely between the resident and Gaeta Recycling Co.
- Household
waste is picked up 2 times a week, Monday & Thursday,
year round.
- Bulky Trash is picked up 4 times a year, March, June, September and November.
- White Goods are picked up once a month. Call for appointment.
- Recycling collection is picked up every other Tuesday and must be brought to the curb by 6:30 AM.
