On Saturday, May 15, The USR Recreation Commission will be sponsoring its annual town wide Clean Up Day. The hours will be from 8am until 12pm. All participants can come to Lions Park anytime within those hours and can spend as much time as they wish picking up trash from various parts of town. Garbage bags will be provided, and there will be a truck in Lions in which to deposit the full bags. Although there will be much work to be done in Lions, there will also be much to be done at additional areas, such as the school grounds, the Riverwalk, Hess Park, and others, so parents will be needed to drive children to different locations.

All organizations in Upper Saddle River benefit from the parks and facilities in town. It is imperative that those that benefit also contribute to keeping them clean and beautiful. Therefore, the Recreation Commission strongly encourages all children and parents in our town's organizations to come to Lions Park and help make this event a success.
