Upper Saddle River Building Department DIRECTOR - (201) 934-3966 The building department is responsible for the enforcement and duties of the Uniform Construction Code, and consists of Building, Plumbing, Fire and Electrical inspectors. We perform plan review; release of permits and required inspections. Our department also houses the Zoning Officer who is responsible for the enforcement of the Zoning Code. The property maintenance inspector enforces the Borough's maintenance code. Our office is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. You may obtain UCC forms by following the link for forms on the main page.
